Meet Saphi. My 5 year old, 13.1hh newforest x pony. She is currently a steely dappled grey pony, but may grow lighter as she gets older. She is only young and still has some growing to do. I hope she'll reach about 14hh, but she should make 13.2-3hh which is ok as long as I don't grow too much!!

Saphi has had a wonderful start in life. I don't know how her previous homes were, but I do know that the home we bought her from was horsey heaven!! I would kill to live in a place like that!

Saphi is still a baby at heart, but she can be so mature for her age. She never squeals, bucks or bites. The only time I saw her be aggresive was when we were at our first show and she got in a tizz and kicked by Dad! (They were both fine, and we actually got placed!!)

Saphi is a wonderfully soppy pony (as you can tell by the pictures) and she just loves hugs! She is a little green as she has mainly been used for hacking, but she is such a quick learner and eager to please. We've already done so well with many of her habits, and she's making real progress loading into the horse trailer. She's not perfect, but she'll get there!

Saphi's favourite treat is her mint lick. She likes hacking, cuddles and being with friends. She dislikes being mounted, loading, riding on the left rein, and being seperate from friends. But like I say, she's learning.

Saphi is my first pony who I bought in May 2011. I have had many wonderful ponies before them, some who are galloping freely in the sky, and others who are still with us. I want to thank all the people who have been kind enough to provide me with a pony to look after, and I also want to thank my Mum and Grandad for buying me Saphi, and my Dad and Sister for putting up with it all!!!
